It's never too late!

It can be an inexpensive way to reach your targeted audiences quickly and efficiently. Since most accounts are free to set up, consumers are on many different sites, giving you more than one way to introduce your product/service to them. Check out these 3 inexpensive ways to make sure you’re on track to gaining exposure to all your clientele.

1. Create a ‘voice’ in your community:

Credibility is important to build and maintaining clientele. You’ve opened a business and are an expert in your field, so now lets show people you are. Consumers are more likely to purchase from you if they trust you, so one of the best ways to do this is share your knowledge by helping others or giving out useful information on forums, TwitterFacebook, blogs, or any other social media sites that reach your customers. Building these relationships and showing you are an expert will create customer loyalty and lead to purchases.

2. Youtube

Anyone in retail is a hard worker, and a large percentage are DIYers (Do It Yourself). Explaining how to do something over the internet is one thing, but creating a video not only gives your consumer another way to learn about your product/service, but puts a face to the name. For the most part, conversations online are faceless interactions, so using video as a way to show your followers you are a real person trying to help is another great way to build relationships with customers.

3. Make sure they can find you

Type your name into Google and see what pops up. Google PlacesYelp, among other listings will hopefully be displaying your business. Click on each of them and make sure they have the right:

  • Address
  • Hours
  • Description
  • Quality photos
  • Link to your website
  • Contact Info

You’d be surprised how often this information is improperly entered, which leads to your competitors getting your business.
